Melo-X Soundcheck @ Webster Hall
I had the privilage to open up DJ'ing at Webster Hall July 22nd for the Melo-X and Jesse Boykins III performance. Because I was going on a roadtrip RIGHT AFTER, I brought along Dolly (my camera) and snapped a couple candids during the soundcheck portion! enjoy!

So the good people at Cookies N Cream, alongside Ill Party and Trendsettaz Ent. bring to you this friday Ill Banger! Fridaze! Love 2 Love Presents Daggerfest Pt 1! 6.8.10
So Tuesday June 8th 10' We are heating up downtown NYC with what we call DAGGERFEST! No its not where a bunch of goons with kitchen knives, blades, and broken bottles come out and stab each other up. It's a venue dedicated to a form of Reggae Dancing. As the years changed, the styles changed, where in the beginning it was almost like you could kiss a girl in the mouth (See Foxy Brown - Sorry, Bitty McLean - Walk away from love) to where a dude would shatter a girl's vertebrae, and patella with INTENSSEEEEEEE pelvic thrusting (See RDX - Bend Over, Vybz Kartel - Pon Di Edge). So to celebrate, I along with some of downtown's most popular DJ's will be bringing you some of this fun chronologically.. 1st on DECK We got DJ Chad Dubz with the old school rub-a-dub, followed by yours truly with the 90's early 2000's bellyrubbing tunes, then DJ Will Gates follows with Dancing Class style reggae which spawned the true meaning of DAGGERING (((((( wait now, there will be a daggering contest at 2am )))))) so drink ya peanut punch because THATS gonna be epic. Then to wrap up the night, Looney Tunes aka Selector Sean and McCool 3000 end the night with the lastest and greatest! soDON'T BE A DILDO AND MISS OUT. MeLo has been working on this sampler for some time which is only right to give you the best music he can. This year he wanted to focus on his production to show his progression as a producer. On this sampler he touches on a bit of everything (hip-hop, r&b, soul, reggae, dance , electro, house, UK funky and world music) and it’s crazy how he infused all the different genres on this mix and included some of the best artist in the indie world today. Back Like Cracker Jacks In The Snack Pack!
Nearly escaping the harsh blizzard on the 11th of February, I caught my ontime flight with Caribbean Airlines to the lovely country of Trinidad and Tobago. Now, everyone must think i have a MILLION photos out there, but I didn't even take a camera. I had no sorts of technology with me as I went from here to there, so this post may seem a little dry due to mostly words! (sorry!) It was around 90 degrees each day, with an unusually dry season. So yes, about 2 weeks out there, with absolutely NO rain! Blue skies EVERYDAY! Sunday night/Monday morning was J'ouvert In which I played with the band "Yellow Devils". You get free unlimited drinks when you play with a band, let me just say that. Monday the 15th, and Tuesday the 16th were Trinidad's Carnival. I was supposed to play with TRIBE, one of Carnival's largest bands, but due to last minute mix up, I ended up freeballing with some friends, and STILL had a time! Now that, was nothing short of AMAZING. I'm gonna snag some video from the internet to show you what this experience entailed
